The grips are fairly easy to install, but the side grips keep popping out no matter how deep they are inserted.I am in and out of this chair frequently throughout the day, and find that the side grips start coming out after the third or so time I sit down.If any of the grips are too long, the instructions say to cut with heavy-duty scissors.Although it is good that the grips are very sturdy, I could not cut the back grip with any cutting tool but a heavy serrated knife and lots of effort.
These grips are best for chairs that are not used frequently.
